Role responsibilities

Transmission Line Design role available for both Distribution and Transmission lines for design of structures associated with overhead powerlines and foundations.

Work will include:

• Completing projects within require budget
• Model powerlines in PLS CADD
• Model poles in PLS CADD
• Design pole/tower for power lines
• Design pole/tower foundations
• Interpret geotechnical study results
• Develop design package including design criteria, report, BOQ, structure drawings, foundation drawings, stringing charts, plan and profile drawings
• Be able to study new standards and Scope of work and interpret them

Minimum requirements

BEng/BTech Civil or Mechanical

3-5 years project experience

Previous experience with PLS CADD and/or Transmission lines preferred

Skills, and characteristics (add if applicable)

PLS-CADD, -POLE or -TOWERs experience

Independent worker

Basic project co-ordination knowledge
