Role responsibilities

  • Monitor, control, and report on project costs to ensure adherence to budget and contractual requirements.

  • Prepare cost forecasts, variance analyses, and cash flow projections.

  • Track committed and incurred costs, ensuring accurate and timely cost coding.

  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to validate expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Maintain and update project cost control systems, reports, and documentation.


Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in cost control or project controls within construction, engineering, or related industries.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and project cost control software/tools.

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost management principles.

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and reporting abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and project management software is an advantage.
