We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Civil Engineer in our accomplished water resources management team in Tshwane. Role Responsibilities

Based on your diverse professional experience and technical knowledge your responsibilities will a combination of the following across various geographies:

  • Integrated water resources planning and management.
  • Prefeasibility/feasibility studies.
  • Master planning.
  • Hydrological analysis.
  • Water resources modelling.
  • Systems analysis.
  • Flood risk assessment.
  • Water demand analysis.
  • Open channel hydraulics.
  • Stormwater analysis.
  • Information management systems.
  • Spatial analysis.
  • Data analytics.
  • Stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitation of meetings and workshops.
  • Training and capacity building
  • Bid preparation and technical report writing.
  • Leading a range of projects across southern Africa, Africa and the Middle East, will display strong commercial acumen and will be comfortable managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Fulfilling a leadership role in the water resources management team and the broader water market within Zutari, you will take responsibility for winning work, growing client relationships and managing resources towards achieving the Water Market goals as well as the overall Zutari strategy.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • BSc Eng/BEng in a relevant civil engineering discipline complimented by a relevant postgraduate qualification.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng.) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
  • At 15 years postgraduate experience in civil engineering.
  • Comprehensive project management, quality assurance and project governance experience. 
  • Effective planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and manage people and have strong inter-personal and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver work of outstanding quality.
